Founded by Father and son, Amnon & Ido Lewinshon in 2007, “Lewinsohn” is an authentic “Garagiste” winery.
Ido Lewinsohn graduated from the University of Milan, with a B.S. in Oenology.
Throughout his wine education he worked in wineries such as Margalit (Israel),
Haut Lirou (Pic St. Loup, Languedoc), Mas du Notaire (Rhone Valley),
Domaine A (Tasmania) and Tuscany’s Tenuta San Guido, makers of Sassicaia.
After nearly a decade working for Recanati, Ido is currently the chief winemaker
of Barkan & Segal Wineries. In 2020 he passed his MW of Wine being the second one of Israel.
